Verona is a city in Veneto, northern Italy, home to approx. 265,000 inhabitants and one of the seven provincial capitals of the region. It's one of the main tourist destinations in Italy, thanks to it's artistic heritage, several annual fairs, shows, and operas.
Fortunately the fourth day of our trip to Italy we sent to visit VErona. When we arrived there we went to have lunch in a restaurant where we ate pizza and tiramisu for dessert. It was delicious! Then we went to see the Arena of Verona. At present there are plays, operas, movies...
After that we went to visit the house of Juliet. Also we have a photo on the balcony. We took a picture next to the statue of Juliet. A curiosity is that the visitor is allowed to paste notes on the walls just before leaving the house. Later the teachers gave us some free time and we went to have a drink and to visit some shops. Finally we took the bus and came back to the Hotel.
